Gaiter

Gaiter 988-1654 is used on selected Hiab equipment to protect moving components from dirt, moisture and debris.

Gaiters are typically fitted over rods, joints or sliding parts to shield them from contamination during operation. Keeping these areas protected helps reduce wear and prolong the life of associated components such as seals, bearings and pivot points.

If a gaiter becomes split, cracked or loose, it should be replaced to prevent dirt ingress and premature damage to internal parts.

Compatibility

Part number 988-1654 is fitted to selected Hiab machines. Suitability depends on the crane model and serial number.
